Welcome to the journey! This blog will be a 40 Day Devotional through the Season of Lent, starting on Ash Wednesday, February 22. Each day there will be a video introduction, a written devotional, questions to ponder, and a prayer. Each day will end with a song to listen to that will help you focus on the theme of the day.Please click "Follow by Email" on the right side of this blog, and you'll get notice about each daily post. Please feel free to send the link to this blog to family, friends, neighbors, or to your friends at church.
Better yet, start a small group discussion on the themes and questions. You'll have plenty to talk about just discussing the questions each day! You might want to discuss the daily questions over coffee with people on Sundays or Wednesdays at church. Use your imagination!
Most of all, this is a transformative personal journey through Lent. As each week goes by you'll see that Jesus uses questions as a methodology for deepening discipleship. And as each day goes by you'll be drawn closer to the heart of Jesus and his love for you.
